I normally recommend 0. 7ml or 1ml to create the perfect base layer. Sometimes this is enough but you may with to go bigger and build on this until we reach a point where infrequent top ups of 0.5ml are needed.

The Russian technique shapes the lips into a subtle heart shape with more volume near the center, like a Russian doll. It tends to lift the lip rather than add excessive volume so it's ideal for lip filler newbies or those wanting a more natural finish. You will also notice a "flatter' appearance which prevents any "duck' lips.

This is a question I get asked all the time however it is a really difficult one for me to answer as every single persons pain threshold is very different.
